18-Year-Old Arrested After High Speed Chase In Garland

GARLAND (CBSDFW.COM) - An 18-year-old woman led Garland police on a high speed chase and was eventually arrested Thursday afternoon.
Police tried to pull over the woman, Brenda Hernandez for a traffic violation on Window Way but she sped away.
They eventually used stop sticks to flatten her tires, stopping her on the east bound service road of I-30 at George Bush.
Hernandez doesn't have any warrants and police said they don't know why she fled.
She was booked into the Garland Detention Center for felony evading arrest in a vehicle.
