16-Year-Old Dallas Girl Missing More Than A Year

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - A 16-year-old girl from Dallas has been missing for more than a year and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is asking the public for help in finding her.

The organization said Maria Elizalde went missing in Dallas on Nov. 25, 2015.   She may still be in the the Dallas, Cedar Hill or Balch Springs area, according to a news release.

Elizalde is biracial, Hispanic and American Indian, is 5 feet tall and weighs 140 pounds.

When she was last seen, the ends of her hair were dyed blue.

Anyone with information about Elizalde can contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST) or Dallas Police at 214-744-4444.
