16-Year-Old Arrested, Accused Of Arlington Murder

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) -  Arlington police arrested a 16-year-old late last night in connection to the stabbing death of a man in his late 20's.

The stabbing happened in the 6300 block of Declaration Drive around 4:43 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2016.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Investigators said the altercation happened in the driveway. Detectives said the juvenile suspect has family ties to the victim and it was not a random act of violence.

Due to juvenile laws, his identity and relationship is not releasable.

The identity of the deceased and cause of death will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office after next of kin notifications are made.
