15-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Car In Denton Identified

DENTON (CBSDFW.COM) - A 15-year-old female was struck and killed by a silver colored Honda SUV traveling northbound on Teasley Lane at Montecito Drive in Denton Friday. She was later identified as Areley Naffarratt from Corinth.

She was crossing close to the intersection with a group of friends when the car hit her.

An ambulance took her to Denton Regional Medical Center emergency room where she was pronounced deceased.

The driver and passenger in the vehicle weren't hurt.

The investigation was ongoing at the original time of this report.
