10 People Injured In DART Accident
DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) — Two DART buses were involved in an accident at Bronx Avenue and Ledbetter Drive in South Dallas.
Investigators said the Route 466 bus had stopped to allow passengers to board when it was rear-ended by the Route 554 bus. The accident happened around 11 a.m. Sunday morning.
Ten people were transported to Dallas hospitals to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Among those injured were the two bus operators and several children.
Traffic on Ledbetter Drive was routed around the site of the crash while police investigated the incident.
