Teen faces time in prison after breaking into Frisco home

Teen arrested in connection to Frisco home burglary

FRISCO (CBS News Texas) – A teen faces time in prison for breaking into a Frisco home on Sunday.

At around 8 p.m. at a home in the 10400 block of Belfort Drive, police found one person shot while responding to a "suspicious activity" call.

It was later revealed that the person, 18-year-old Clinton Montgomery, was shot by a homeowner when he broke into the home. Police say he broke into the backyard, pulled a ladder off the house and used it to break a window.

Montgomery was taken to a hospital for treatment and faces up to 22 years in prison with a fine of up to $10,000.
