Xfinity Comcast Outage In San Francisco - Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- There were widespread reports of outages for Bay Area Xfinity/Comcast customers late Monday night.

Outage spotting website, downdetector.com showed a spike of complaints began around 11 p.m., from customers in San Francisco, San Jose and other Bay Area cities.

In a Tweet, the company confirmed the outage and saying "we have detected a performance inssue in the area" and will have service restored by 4:23 a.m.
