Woman Stabbed To Death Inside San Jose Home
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A woman was stabbed to death at a home in San Jose Thursday evening, according to police.
Officers were called to the 3800 block of Canyon Ridge Drive in San Jose just before 5 p.m., according to Sgt. Heather Randol.
They found an adult female victim inside a home there with at least one stab wound.
The woman was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, Randol said.
Police took into custody at the scene a suspect who was known to the victim, but have no released his identity yet or that of the victim.
The death is the 16th homicide of 2014 for the city of San Jose.
