Woman Stabbed In San Francisco Civic Center Plaza
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – A woman suffered major injuries when a man stabbed her Monday night in San Francisco's Civic Center Plaza, police said.
At 8:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a stabbing there.
Upon arrival, officers learned a woman had been involved in a physical altercation with a man. The man stabbed the woman in the neck, causing her to stumble into the middle of the roadway and collapse, police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police were unable to arrest the suspect, described as a 35-year-old man.
