1.Marc Goodman investigates the intersection of science and security. He's the founder of the Future Crimes Institute and the Chair for Policy, Law, and Ethics at Silicon Valley's Singularity University. 2. JDRF is a global organization with a strategic research plan to end Type 1 Diabetes. Sara and Andy Kurtzig, parents of a child with Type 1 diabetes, were inspired to start an annual event to raise money for JDRF. The JDRF Royal Ball is may 2nd in San Francisco. Listen to the podcast here.
