The city issued an evacuation order for homes and buildings sitting west of Salsipuedes Creek toward East Lake Avenue and east of Mackenzie Avenue down toward Blackburn Street and south toward Main Street between the Pajaro River and state Highway 129.

Residents may look up their evacuation zones at community.zonehaven.com.

City officials anticipated the storm that blanketed most of Northern California Wednesday evening and Thursday morning would cause both Salsipuedes Creek and Corralitos Creek to overflow their banks and flood the surrounding areas.

The city has also reactivated its flood information hotline at (831) 768-3038.
