Watch San Francisco Giants Pitcher George Kontos Takes The Ice At Chicago Blackhawks Game
San Francisco Giants pitcher George Kontos dropped the glove and cleats in favor of a hockey stick at Sunday's Chicago Blackhawks game versus the Minnesota Wild.
Kontos, who grew up in a Chicago suburb, is a lifelong Blackhawks fan and nailed his second shot from center ice at the United Center.
"It was great," Commented Kontos, " A little bit out of my element holding a hockey stick but I've been very fortunate to be in front of 40,000 people in two World Series so it wasn't quite as bad as I thought it was going to be."
