Oakland police take two suspects into custody after pursuit through city streets

Police in Oakland took two suspects into custody Tuesday afternoon following a stolen vehicle pursuit where patrol units followed two different suspect vehicles on East Bay freeways and city streets.

The suspect appeared to abandon the vehicle and was walking through a neighborhood on foot before he walked up to a house, where he met with a second individual before they left that home in a white station wagon.

After the station wagon drove into a different Oakland neighborhood, police were able to track the two suspects down and stop the vehicle. The two individuals were taken into custody without incident.
