Watch: Carnaval San Francisco Grand Parade

The Carnaval Grand Parade returned to the streets of San Francisco's Mission District featuring samba dancers, lowriders and floats and CBS New Bay Area brought you all the action live.

The  60-contingent lineup featured over 3,000 artists representing the cultural heritages of Brazil, Mexico, Panama, Bolivia, Cuba, Peru, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Colombia, Trinidad & Tobago, Guatemala, El Salvador, and more. The Grand Parade covers 20 blocks in San Francisco's historic Latino Cultural District in the Mission.

The parade began at 24th and Bryant streets, proceeded west to Mission Street before heading north on Mission toward 15th Street. From there, participants turned east on 15th.

Those who didn't catch the parade in person or the on-air broadcast at KPIX+ and livestream can enjoy an encore broadcast on Sunday, June 2 at 8 p.m. The full parade coverage will also be viewable on this page and the KPIX YouTube Page.
