Warriors Star Green Won't Have To Appear In Court On Assault Charges

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Warriors star Draymond Green will not have to appear in court for misdemeanor assault charges.

Tuesday, a Michigan judge waved his arraignment.

Green was arrested for assault early Sunday morning. He posted $200 bail and was released.

Video from TMZ shows him in handcuffs, being led away after an altercation outside a bar in East Lansing, Michigan.

According to TMZ Sports, witnesses say a man was repeatedly heckling Green, and the 6'7″ 230-pound power forward slapped him.

The victim was a male subject who was uninjured.

Green faces up to $500 in fines and possibly 90 days in jail.
