Walnut Creek crash involving bicyclist leaves 1 dead
A collision between a vehicle and bicyclist under an Interstate Highway 680 overpass near Walnut Creek left one person dead on Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was initially reported shortly before 11:15 a.m. on Livorna Road under the highway overpass.
The collision has had no effect on freeway traffic. The CHP asked people to use alternative routes around Livorna Road.
