Vallejo homeowner believed to have shot, killed burglary suspect
A Vallejo homeowner shot and killed someone who may have been trying to burglarize their home, police said.
The shooting happened at a house on the 1000 block of Georgia Street at the intersection with Monterey Street, about two blocks away from the Vallejo Police station.
Police believe the shooting was a result of a homeowner shooting a suspect "after intervening in a burglary."
The shooting is still being investigated.
