The collision blocked all eastbound lanes of the highway until about 10:30 a.m. and involved a third vehicle that hit the big-rig after it hit the woman's vehicle.

The woman, who was the only person injured, had to be extricated and was taken to a hospital, CHP Officer Andrew Nelson said.

The big-rig was 40 feet long and its trailer was empty.
