Tickets To Kobe's Final Game Hotter Than Warriors' Record-Breaking Victory
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Wednesday night's possible record-setting Warriors game is not the hottest ticket on StubHub. Kobe Bryant's grand finale is.
The average ticket price to see the Lakers star's last game in his 20-year career is $971 on StubHub according to ESPN. To see the Warriors break the Chicago Bulls' 1995-96 record with a 73rd win is running costs only $436.
"It is virtually unprecedented to see the two highest-priced regular-season games of the year take place in the last game of the season at games with no playoff stakes involved," StubHub spokesman Glenn Lehrman told The Mercury News.
The Lakers play Utah and the Warriors play the Grizzlies. Both are big games in their own right and apparently, the fans are willing to pay big bucks to see them.
