Three Men Shot In Two Overnight Shootings In Antioch

ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- Three men were wounded in two shootings in Antioch Thursday night and Friday morning, according to Antioch police.

Officers driving in the 1600 block of Sycamore Drive heard gunshots coming from an alley at about 10 p.m., police said.

They worked their way through a large crowd that had gathered and found two gunshot victims on the ground.

The victims, a 24-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, were taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds not considered life-threatening.

Early Friday morning, a gunshot victim went to a hospital and said he had been shot in the 1200 block of A Street.

The 24-year-old man told police that someone shot at him from a moving car at about 12:50 a.m. and a friend drove him to the hospital.

Police have not identified any suspects in either shooting. Anyone with information about the shootings has been asked to call Antioch police at (925) 778-2441.
