Teen Stabbed In Petaluma Billiards Hall

PETALUMA (CBS SF) -- Petaluma police are investigating a stabbing Friday night that may be gang-related.

Police responded at 11:41 p.m. to a stabbing at Buffalo Billiards at 246 Petaluma Blvd. N. but did not find a victim or suspect.

Police learned a person with a slash wound to his torso arrived at Petaluma Valley Hospital about 20 minutes later, Sgt. Ed Crosby said. The wound was not life-threatening but required surgery to close.

The wounded person, who is expected to recover, told police he was 18 years old, but is actually a juvenile. The victim gave few details about the incident, which investigators believe was gang-related, Crosby said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Nick McGowan at (707) 778-4456.
