Suspected Package Thieves Arrested On Christmas Eve With Goods From 5 Bay Area Cities
LIVERMORE (CBS SF) -- Two suspected package thieves were arrested Christmas Eve in Livermore.
Livermore police responded to multiple reports of two suspects hiding in the bushes on Marina Road at 1 a.m. Wednesday, where they located a male and female.
Officers recognized one of the subjects from video surveillance of a previous package theft.
27-year old Christina Rodriguez, and 31-year old Jose Ruiz were arrested for prowling. When officers located the suspect's vehicle parked nearby, they found packages stolen from homes in Orinda, Lafayette, Brentwood, Pleasanton, and Livermore.
