Super Bowl Was Big Win For SFO Businesses

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- Officials at San Francisco International Airport say the Super Bowl was a big win for them.

The airport says 1.2 million people traveled through the airport between February 1st and 9th. That's a 15 percent jump from the same time last year.

That led to a $4.6 million jump at concessions at the airport. Some businesses reported seeing sales jump 500 percent in that time frame.

Private and corporate jet traffic was also more than 50 percent higher.
