LOOK: Panthers Fan Steph Curry Wears Raiders Jersey After Losing Bet
Steph Curry may be synonymous with the Bay Area thanks to his illustrious career with the Golden State Warriors, but he's still a Carolina boy at heart in many ways.
Curry was born in Akron, Ohio but was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina due to the fact that his father was a member of the Charlotte Hornets during Curry's youth.
Growing up there made Curry a fan of the Carolina Panthers as well; a team he's ardently supported in public quite often over the last few years as his star stature has continued to rise.
So of course, Curry was pulling for the Panthers when they squared off against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday afternoon at the Coliseum. But, when his Panthers came up just short of pulling off the upset victory, Curry had to pay the price as he wound up losing a pregame bet he made.
Give @StephenCurry30 credit, he's a good sport. @RAIDERS. Just Win Baby! pic.twitter.com/wkDP54rHaQ

Needless to say, the Raiders approved of the new garb.

And of course, Steph took the whole thing in stride.
Never a doubt I'm riding with my @Panthers 4eva. #KeepPounding in my blood! But A bet is a bet! #RaiderNation y'all know how to do it right!
