Starbucks Computer Glitch Overcharges Customers 4th Of July Weekend

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- If you bought a drink at Starbucks over the 4th of July holiday weekend you may have paid more than you should have.

Customers were overcharged because of a computer glitch.

The system jacked up the coffee giant's prices in error.

In fact, Starbucks' prices are going up, but the changes aren't supposed to kick in for another two weeks.

On average, customers were charged about $.30 more for their drinks.

Anyone overcharged can call Starbucks customer service for an adjustment.
