Large Snake Spotted Slithering Around Busy San Francisco Street

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- It's certainly something you don't see everyday -- a snake in the middle of a Bay Area street.
Police responded to De Haro and Berry streets in San Francisco Tuesday night and found a snake slithering around.
Officers called animal control and kept a close watch on it until they got there to catch it.
Police believe the snake may have made its way from a nearby homeless encampment.
