Small Fire Sends Smoke Over San Francisco SoMa District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - San Francisco firefighters were attempting to put down a one alarm fire at Mission St. and Beale St. in the South Of Market area Friday morning.

Crews said the fire was on the outside of the seven story building at 350 Mission St. It was first reported at 9:04 a.m.

Firefighters were using lifts to get to the fifth floor, where the fire originated.
