SJSU Student Kidnapped at Gunpoint at 7-Eleven Near Campus

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A San Jose State University student was reportedly kidnapped at a convenience store close to campus, robbed at gunpoint and forced to withdraw money at ATMs in the area by his assailant, according to San Jose police.

The victim was allegedly taken at the 7-Eleven in the 400 block of South 6th Street around 2:39 p.m. Wednesday.

According to police, the alleged kidnapper released the victim unharmed. The suspect hasn't been identified.

An alert sent to students described the suspect as having yellow hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
