Sinkhole Swallows Pedestrian Pathway In Pacifica
PACIFICA (KPIX 5) -- A sinkhole in Pacifica swallowed a section of a pedestrian pathway Sunday.
The pathway crumbled in an area near Esplanade Avenue that has suffered from erosion for years. Three other sinkholes were reported earlier this year just blocks away on Beach Boulevard.
The area was roped off, and warning signs were posted. There was no estimated time when the pathway might reopen.
