Shots Fired At Officers In Menlo Park After Home Invasion, Chase Across San Francisco Bay Ends Up Near Facebook Headquarters
MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- What started as a home invasion robbery in Fremont ended on the other side of the Bay in Menlo Park Wednesday with shots fired at officers, and two suspects in custody, and another on the loose.
Police officers from Newark and Fremont were pursuing a suspect over the Dumbarton Bridge after the home invasion on their side of the Bay.
The suspect turned into a business park in the 1300 block of Willow Road near Facebook, where shots were fired at the officers. The officers were uninjured in the shooting, and did not return fire.
Two suspects were detained, and a third suspect was being sought.
