Sharks' Pavelski Voted To All NHL 2nd Team
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - San Jose Sharks forward Joe Pavelski was named Tuesday to the National Hockey League All-Star 2nd Team, the equivalent of football's All-Pro team.
The distinction means that Pavelski was deemed the 2nd best left winger in the league for the 2013-2014 season. Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars was selected to the 1st team at that position.
Pavelski, the only Shark to make either team, was selected by sportswriters after his 41 goal 38 assist campaign. He appeared in all 82 games for the Sharks.
