Seven Arrested, 19 Pounds Of Meth Seized In Santa Rosa Drug Raids
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- A series of drug raids this week in the Santa Rosa area have resulted in seven suspects taken into custody on a variety of charges and 19 pounds of methamphetamine seized.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Department said detectives served five search warrants in the Santa Rosa area and one in San Jose on Feb. 17. They recovered approximately 19 pounds of methamphetamine, scales, packaging material and over $12,000 in cash.
Those booked into Sonoma County jail were:
- Christian Mondragon-Mendoza, 22, Santa Rosa. He's being held on $100,000 bail on felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony transporting controlled substance, felony transporting controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy.
- Aida Sanchez-Lopez, 23, Santa Rosa. Sanchez-Lopez is being held on $100,000 bail on felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony transporting controlled substance, felony transporting controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy.
- Antonio Cruz-Rochin, 26, Santa Rosa transient. He's being held on Zero bail for violation of probation, unlicensed driver, concealed dirk or dagger.
- Jacqueline Leon-Ortiz, 22, Santa Rosa. She is being held on Zero bail on Felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy, felony child cruelty.
- Macey Hester, 23, Santa Rosa. Hester was charged with felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy and released on Zero bail.
Those booked into jail in San Jose were:
- Karen Chavez, 29, San Jose. Being held on felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy.
- Cesar Rojas-Jimenez, 29, San Jose. Felony possession of controlled substance for sale, felony conspiracy.
citation due to $0 bail.
Deputies said the arrests came in an ongoing investigation.
