Berkeley Lab Seismologist Says Early-Warning System Worked In Napa Quake

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) -- A scientist from the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory told KPIX 5 that an experimental earthquake warning system worked, giving about a 10-second alert prior to the magnitude 6 South Napa quake that struck the Bay Area Sunday morning.

Richard Allen, the Berkeley seismic lab director spoke with KPIX 5 reporter Len Ramirez.
