Santa Rosa police identify woman found wandering disoriented; relatives notified
An elderly woman who was found disoriented and wandering in Santa Rosa on Thursday afternoon has been identified, police said.
Authorities sent out an alert after she was found about 1 p.m. in the 2800 block of Dutton Meadow. Residents there did not recognize her and were concerned for her safety, police said.
Shortly before 5 p.m., police said she was identified and her relatives notified.
"The quick resolution to this case could not have happened without the community's assistance," Santa Rosa police said in a advisory. "Thank you for calling in tips and sharing this information."
