San Jose Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Student In 2007
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) – A San Jose teacher was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student in 2007, police said.
Los Gatos resident David Scott Graham, 64, was the victim's algebra teacher at Harker Academy when he reportedly used his position of authority to exploit the girl into a sexual relationship, police said.
The victim, now in her twenties, disclosed the assault to a friend on July 23. Her friend filed a crime report with the San Jose police, which launched an investigation, police said.
On Thursday, detectives arrested Graham at Harker Academy and booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of sexual assault of a minor under 14 and oral copulation.
