San Jose Police Search For Gunman Who Shot Person Standing In Front Of Home
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Officers are investigating a shooting that left one person injured in a residential neighborhood in San Jose Monday evening, a police sergeant said.
At about 5:15 p.m., police received a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of Edgestone Circle, near Brahms Avenue, San Jose police Sgt. Heather Randol said.
Officers also received a report that the suspect had fired shots into a home, Randol said.
Based on the investigation, two people were standing in their driveway talking to one another when the suspect drove onto Edgestone Circle. The suspect leaned out of the vehicle window and fired three to four rounds in the victims' direction.
One victim was struck by at least one round, Randol said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to Randol.
There are no suspects in custody and the shooting remains under investigation.
