San Jose Burglary Suspect Caught On Surveillance Footage
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police released a video Tuesday of a man wanted for a home burglary that occurred in San Jose this September.
On Sept. 14 around noon, the suspect rang the doorbell at a home in the 6000 block of Buffett Place east of Almaden Lake Park, police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.
When no one answered, he entered the backyard and forced his way into the home through a rear sliding glass door, according to Garcia.
He then fled the scene, Garcia said.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with black hair. He wore a white short-sleeve shirt, red shorts and black sneakers at the time of the theft, according to Garcia.
Police released a surveillance video of the suspect that shows him waiting outside the front door after ringing the doorbell carrying a plastic bag filled with items and briefly inside the home. The video can be viewed online at https://youtu.be/lgeaYOO-BpI.
