An at-risk 11-year-old San Francisco boy who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon was found by Newark police, according to the SFPD.

LeMichael Humphrey, 11, had last been seen Tuesday at 2:55 p.m. in the 400 block of Stanyan Street. He is considered at-risk not only for his young age, but because he has been diagnosed with autism and schizophrenia, according to police. He has also recently tested positive for COVID-19.

San Francisco police asked for the public's help finding the boy in social media posts Thursday.

The boy is known to travel on Muni and BART, often to surrounding cities. Authorities did not say when Humphrey was found by police in Newark, but SFPD confirmed Friday morning he had been reunited with his family.
