San Francisco police investigate shooting that injured 2 in Polk Gulch
SAN FRANCISCO – Two men were injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Polk Gulch neighborhood Wednesday evening, according to police.
The shooting was reported shortly before 8 p.m. in the area of Polk and California streets. According to police, an argument at a restaurant on the 1600 block of California spilled out onto the street where the suspect shot the victim, leaving the individual with life-threatening injuries. The person was given medical aid and transported to an area hospital.

The second victim injured -- a San Francisco resident who was walking by the scene -- sustained a non-life-threatening gun shot wound, police said.
The suspect fled following the shooting and remain at large. San Francisco police have not released a detailed description of the suspect.
