San Francisco Law Group Suing John Kerry Over Yemeni-Americans' Passports

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A San Francisco group is suing John Kerry over the practice of taking passports away from Yemeni-Americans after a man was left stranded in Yemen while visiting relatives.

Omar Masad claims he was not permitted to return to the U.S. for over a year after his passport was confiscated, and he was subjected to aggressive interrogation.

Attorneys with the Asian Law Caucus filed the suit.

Oakland business owner Rayman Hussein was stuck in Yemen for over a year as well after his passport was confiscated.
