Runaway Dumpster Crashes Into Belmont Fire Hydrant, Sending Water Shooting

BELMONT (CBS SF) -- A runaway dumpster caused a big mess in Belmont Monday morning.

The trash bin crashed into a fire hydrant sending water into the air.

Carlmont Drive near Alameda de las Pulgas was closed while crews worked to fix the leak.

No word on what caused the dumpster to roll away.
