Royals Fan Selling His Classic Car To Fund Trip To World Series Games For His Family
KANSAS CITY (CBS SF) -- A Royals fan in Kansas City wants to give his family a trip to the World Series so badly he's willing to part with his classic car to get them there.
Jerod Main put his blue and white 1965 Ford Mustang up for sale, asking $24,000. He's hoping that will be enough to take his family of six to a home game, and another on the road in San Francisco.
"Hopefully they sweep them, and I'd like to go to the fourth game in San Francisco," Main said.
Main says he can always buy another car, but seeing his team in the World Series is priceless.
