1 Dead, 2 Injured In Early Morning Richmond Shooting

RICHMOND (CBS SF) – One person died and two others were injured in a shooting in Richmond early Wednesday morning, a police spokesman said.

Officers responded at about 12:20 a.m. to a report of a shooting at the intersection of Marina Way South and Wright Avenue.

They arrived to find a vehicle stopped at the intersection with three people inside. One, whose name has not been released, was dead and the other two were taken to a hospital with injuries that do not appear life-threatening, police spokesman Lt. Felix Tan said.

Witnesses described the suspect vehicle only as a dark-colored sedan seen driving away after the shooting. No other suspect information was available and no arrests have been made, Tan said.
