Rapper Jay-Z To Headline Ohio Concert For Hillary Clinton
By Amanda Wicks
(RADIO.COM) – With the 2016 presidential election a little over two weeks away, artists are pulling out all the stops to help their respective candidates. And Jay-Z is doing his part. The New York mogul will headline a concert in support of Hillary Clinton shortly before the election.
CNN confirmed that Jay-Z would be performing in Cleveland, Ohio, although no announcement about the date of the concert has made the rounds.
Although the latest polls show that Clinton has a double digit national lead over Donald Trump, the race between the two remains close in important swing states like Ohio.
It wouldn't be HOV's first time stumping for a candidate. In 2012, he performed in support of Barack Obama's reelection campaign with Bruce Springsteen (via Pitchfork).
