Rain Expected For Trick-Or-Treaters This Halloween
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Rain may affect trick-or-treaters Monday in the immediate Bay Area, National Weather Service officials said Sunday.
The last of a series of storms over several days will make its way over the area starting late Monday morning in the North Bay and move south into the Monterey Bay Area Monday night.
In between, trick-or-treaters in San Francisco, Oakland and other areas close to San Francisco Bay may get wet.
Moderate rain, which could be heavy at times, will move over the North Bay Monday afternoon.
The system will move south into San Francisco and Oakland late in the afternoon and early evening and continue south into the Santa Clara Valley and Santa Cruz areas later in the evening.
By Monday night it will bring lighter rain into the Monterey Bay Area.
Less than a quarter inch is expected in San Francisco and Concord. San Rafael is expected to receive a quarter of an inch while less than a tenth of an inch is expected south of Half Moon Bay.
