Puppy Located After Being Stolen During Napa Home Burglary; 2 Arrested
NAPA (CBS SF) -- A stolen puppy was found and two people arrested Thursday after a Napa home burglary earlier Thursday morning, police said.
The puppy, which appears to be a bulldog mix, was stolen sometime between 7:45 and 11:00am from a home on the 2100 block of Soscol Ave.
Napa Police said the burglars got in through an unlocked garage side door.
"Bella" was found after her image was posted on the Napa Police Department's Facebook page. In a subsequent post, Napa Police said:
An alert Facebook follower of Napa Police Department saw the post about missing Bella. Shortly thereafter, this Good Samaritan saw Bella in the possession of two males near Napa High School and contacted police. The Napa Police Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) located the two males and Bella and she was returned to her grateful owner, Adriana, but not before SEU Officer Keri Sedgley got to take a picture with her! Amazing example of how lucky we are to live and work in this community, where people are willing to get involved!
The two unidentified male suspects were arrested. Police said some of the other items taken were a black Coach purse and a brown Coach wallet.
