Police Find Missing San Leandro Man With Dementia

SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- Police have found a missing man suffering from dementia who was last seen near his San Leandro home Saturday morning.

James Gamen, 88, was gone from his home on Devonshire Avenue for several hours, according to Lt. Isaac Benabou.

Police had issued a missing persons report, asking the public for help after Gamen drove off in his gray Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and did not return.

It is not clear how he came home, but police issued a report he was found around 7 p.m.
