Police Raid Santa Rosa Home With Thousands Of Marijuana Plants In Front Yard

SANTA ROSA (CBS/AP) -- Police say they seized more than 3,000 marijuana plants at a Northern California house where the entire front yard was used as a grow site.

Clearlake Police said Tuesday that they raided three adjacent properties and arrested five men working on what they described as a large commercial operation.

Officers say the marijuana was in the front and side yard and inside the first house. The other two locations had marijuana plants growing up to four or five feet tall inside hoop houses.

The five men were arrested on suspicion of growing marijuana and booked into Lake County Jail.
