Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In San Francisco's Bernal Heights

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- One man is dead and a second person was injured in a shooting in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood early Tuesday evening, according to authorities.

The gunman was on the loose Tuesday night.

The injured victim was taken to the hospital.

The shooting happened at about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Richland Avenue and Leese Street.

Police taped off the street as they collected evidence.

The deceased victim has not yet been identified and San Francisco police have not released any information regarding a motive or suspects.
