1 Dead, Another Wounded In San Jose Double Shooting Early Saturday

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a double shooting in San Jose early Saturday morning that left one person dead and injured another.

Officers responded at 2:01 a.m. to the 200 block of Oak Street in response to a report of a shooting and located two adult victims suffering from at least one gunshot wound each, police said.

The victims were transported to the hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. The second victim is expected to survive.

Police said the unidentified suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and have not been located.

Police are investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting.
